On November 4, 2023, GHCH held it’s first year end breakfast, at the Millgrove Community Centre, Millgrove, ON, to showcase our riders’ accomplishments during our first year and show appreciation to our volunteers and supporters. Over 50 people attended the event and were served a homecooked pancake breakfast. Big shout out to Sippy Cup coffee for donating coffee to the event. The attendees were treated to a slideshow showcasing GHCH first year highlights as well as a chance to interact with Olympian Peter Disera, who graciously attended the event. Appreciation was shown to all our volunteers, and everyone left with a little GHCH swag, in the form of water bottles and t-shirts. A huge thanks you to all the volunteers that helped with setup, cooking, serving and tear down, Ariel Andres, ariellandres.com for his awesome photography work, as well to Peter Disera for taking time from a busy schedule to attend the event. GHCH also donated all of the unused food to the Dundas Food Bank.
